With another year under our belts, it’s time to take a look at our year in review. What a busy year it’s been for Mountain House’s real estate.
In 2014 there were a total of 243 sales, 36 of which were condos. Only 5 of the 243 were REOs (bank owned), and 15 were short sales. What a huge difference, even from the year before at 45 were short sales.
These numbers are hugely indicative of the market’s recovery. Over 50 homes were $500,000 or above, with 11 properties $600,000 or more. In addition to the strong prices, were sat 72% of homes selling less than 30 days, including new builder homes that skewed the statistics drastically.
The total dollar volume was $104,297,035 for all 243 properties, with the average and median price at approximately $429,000.
Overall we saw a strong year. We can predict that 2015 will be just as strong if not much stronger given the low inventory at year-end. With inventory so low in Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and prices skyrocketing, it is only natural that Mountain House will do the same.
